Reneé Thompson is an experienced Researcher, Parliamentary & Government Liaison Officer with a demon-strated history of working in Parliament and Government for 16 years. She holds a Masters degree in Journalism and is currently enrolled in her final year of her PhD program at Stellenbosch.

Reneé was among the inaugural recipients of the Apolitical Academy Public Service Fellowships (2018/2019). Following her departure from Government, Reneé founded Thompson Trust, which provides hands-on strategic advise and support for both local and international clients.  Renee and the firm are both accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa.
