Deputies from the National People’s Assembly, who are permanent members of the Pan-African Parliament, are participating in the extraordinary session of the Pan-African Parliament in Midrand, South Africa, from March 20 to 27, 2024.
This session will include elections for the positions of Speaker of Parliament and the first and fourth deputies.
The National People’s Assembly delegation comprises Ms. Bahja El Amali, President of the Pan-African Parliament’s Committee on Transport, Energy, Industry, Communications, Science, and Technology; Fatih Boutbik, President of the Parliamentary Group of the Future Front; and MP Mohamed Sekras.
Additionally, Mr. Ibrahim Boughali, Speaker of the National People’s Assembly, chaired a coordination meeting with the delegation on March 17, 2024, to prepare for their participation in this extraordinary session.
