On Wednesday, the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, with support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), officially launched the Lesotho 2024 National Human Development Report (NHDR) and the Lesotho Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Investor Map in Maseru.
The 2024 NHDR is titled “Harnessing Technology and Innovations to Accelerate Human Development in Lesotho,” reflecting its focus on leveraging technological advancements and innovations to advance human development within the country.
During the launch, Dr. Rets’elisitsoe Matlanyane, Minister of Finance and Development Planning, highlighted that the Lesotho SDG Investor Map serves as a vital market intelligence tool. This map was developed through a collaboration between the Ministry of Finance & Development Planning and the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC), with technical and financial backing from UNDP and the Africa Finance Hub (AFH).
