Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of the African National Congress (ANC), leads a significant executive team including the Deputy President, Paul Mashatile, and other key figures such as Gwede Mantashe and Fikile Mbalula, the Secretary General.
The organization is headquartered at the Chief Albert Luthuli House in Johannesburg. Recently, a deployment of several National Executive Committee (NEC) members to the Western Cape Province has been announced, reflecting a strategic move to bolster organizational efforts. Notable members assigned include:
- Nomakhosazana Meth as Convenor, alongside
- Mondli Gungubele,
- Alvin Botes,
- Lindiwe Zulu,
- Ronald Lamola,
- Mdumiseni Ntuli,
- Nocawe Mafu,
- David Mahlobo, and
- Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma.
This deployment aims to enhance the ANC’s initiatives concerning the resolutions from the 2022 National Conference and to prepare for the upcoming 2024 Elections Manifesto.
The NEC members are expected to work closely with local structures to ensure that the party’s objectives are effectively implemented while adhering to resolutions from the NEC Lekgotla and January 8 Statements.
