Finance Minister to Deliver 2025 Budget Speech at CTICC
Cape Town – 14 May 2025 — Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana is set to present the 2025 Budget Speech during a National Assembly plenary session on Wednesday, 21 May, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
During the same sitting, the Minister will also introduce the Appropriation Bill and table the 2025 Division of Revenue Bill. These legislative instruments will be processed by Parliament in the months following the address.
The Budget Speech will outline the allocation of financial resources in line with the national government’s priorities, as presented by President Cyril Ramaphosa in the 2025 State of the Nation Address. The speech is expected to detail how government aims to support economic growth while providing for vulnerable communities amid constrained fiscal conditions.
