The Standing Committee on Finance has invited the public to submit written comments on the Revenue Laws Amendment Bill [B5 – 2025]. The deadline for submissions is 12:00 on Monday, June 30, 2025.

Key proposals within the bill include amendments to certain definitions in the Income Tax Act of 1962, as well as modifications to provisions of the Revenue Laws Amendment Act of 2024. The bill also addresses other related matters.

For those wishing to make oral submissions, requests must be specifically made, and public hearings will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
