CAPE TOWN – President Cyril Ramaphosa is scheduled to engage with the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) tomorrow, Wednesday, June 25, 2025, to provide oral replies to a range of pressing questions from lawmakers. The highly anticipated session, taking place at the Nieuwmeester Dome in Parliament, will see the President address critical national issues, including the economic direction of the Government of National Unity and the persistent challenge of youth unemployment.

Among the key topics expected to be put before the President are the Government of National Unity’s position on black economic empowerment, strategies for forging a social compact to revitalize the economy, and the ongoing crisis of youth joblessness. Additionally, shortcomings in budgetary management and service delivery within municipalities are set to feature prominently in the discussions.
