Senate President Lindiwe Dlamini officially launched a Women’s Parliamentary Caucus (WPC) Strategic Planning and Capacity Building Workshop at the Simunye Country Club. In her address, she urged the Women Parliamentarians to embrace their unique perspectives, emphasizing that these qualities are crucial for contributing effectively to the development of the WPC Strategic Plan and advancing the country. She also expressed appreciation to His Majesty King Mswati III for his support in encouraging EmaSwati to vote for women, which has led to an increase in female Parliamentarians. Other speakers included Lubombo Regional Secretary Zandile Swane Dlamini, who represented Regional Administrator Mr. Themba Msibi, and UNFPA Head of Office Ms. Margaret Tembe. The workshop is sponsored by UNDP.
